Learn the basics or learn more!

Even if you've never sewn before, you'll feel comfortable in this setting. We will start getting familiar with the sewing machine by creating simple usable items made from re purposed clothing and or material. We have plenty of sewing machines here at the studios but you are welcome to bring your own and I will show you how to use it. As we learn to use the machine while making a yoga floor pillow. While learning how to sew you will at the same time help use our scrap fabrics to fill your pillows instead of filling the landfills!

This class teaches traditional sewing skills, reading and cutting out patterns while creating projects with a personal touch. F

We work in small groups with lots of one on one time.

All classes are taught in our studio in Georgetown, 6555 5th ave s Seattle 98108 studio 216. We are part of Equinox art group.
