Learn the basics or learn more!

Even if you've never sewn before, you'll feel comfortable in this setting. We will start getting familiar with the sewing machine by creating simple usable items made from re purposed clothing and or material. We have plenty of sewing machines here at the studios but you are welcome to bring your own and I will show you how to use it. As we learn to use the machine we will make some simple items. This class teaches traditional sewing skills, reading and cutting out patterns while creating projects with a personal touch. For the more advanced students you will choose a pattern and we will learn how to follow a commercial pattern and make a project.

We work in small groups with lots of one on one time.

All classes are taught in our studios in Georgetown, 6555 5th ave s Seattle 98108 studio 216 and studio 110. We are part of Equinox art group.
