Welcome to the magical world of puppets!

Spend a creative weekend designing and making your own Muppet-style puppet from start to finish. In this hands-on, two-day workshop, participants will learn the basics of puppet design, character development, patterning, construction, and finishing details while building a unique, expressive puppet to take home.

The workshop is designed for adults, and children are welcome when attending together with an adult. It is also a great fit for adult beginners, makers, performers, educators, artists, and anyone curious about puppetry and character creation.

Duration: Two days over one weekend, 10 hours total. October 17 through October 18th from 10am to 3 pm

Materials: All materials are included. Participants only need to bring their imagination and a willingness to experiment.

·       Learn basic puppet-building techniques

Basic sewing machine skills and hand sewing

·       Explore shape, expression, color, and personality

·       Build and finish a Muppet-style puppet to take home
